PlayStar Casino is Coming to New Jersey

It’s rare to see new casinos launching in New Jersey as most land-based casinos formed online partnerships back in 2013, when the market launched, leaving little room for new operators. However, this week PlayStar Casino and Ocean Casino Resort (Atlantic City) have struck a deal that will see online casino start-up, PlayStar, launch in New Jersey towards the end of 2021.

While NJ players will have a while to wait before they can try out this new and immersive casino, there're plenty of options available in the meantime (take a look at our top-rated NJ online casinos). As always, we'll bring you the latest and greatest from PlayStar Casino as soon as this site opens its virtual doors - stay tuned.

Sands Casino Exploring Market Access for Online Gaming

New Sand’s Chef Ex. Robert Goldstein has divulged that Sands Casino is looking for new ways to expand in the US market, which may include a move into the digital landscape and potentially further land-based expansion. Online gaming has been somewhat of a contentious issue for Sands, as the founder, Sheldon Adelson (who passed away in January), had always made clear his objections to the digital industry, which Goldstein now says was due to ethical concerns that it was too difficult to regulate online gambling and ensure that players used the service responsibly.
