888 Launches Sports Illustrated Sportsbook in Virginia
888 has launched its SI Sportsbook in Virginia, following the platform’s Colorado premiere last year. There are plans to roll out the platform to other states in the coming months.
Caesars Racebook Debuts
Caesars Entertainment has launched, providing wagers at over 250 tracks worldwide via its new online racebook. Currently, it’s only available to players in Ohio and Florida, but with plans to expand. Here’s what Digital Chief Development Officer Dan Shapiro had to say regarding the launch:
“The launch of Caesars Racebook is an important milestone as we continue to add wagering opportunities for our customers and live-streaming content for the first time. We look forward to welcoming new horseracing customers and existing fans onto the platform and to working with NYRA Bets LLC to grow horse racing as we deploy Caesars Racebook with plans to launch in about 30 states across the country.”

The 2022 World Series of Poker kicked off this week in Las Vegas, and Event #1, a $500 Casino Employees tournament (No-Limit Hold’em), has been won by Katie Kopp, taking first place and a five-figure payout. Kopp is a dealer and poker player from Ohio.
