It’s All Heating Up in CT as Sports Betting Goes Live
Both DraftKings and FanDuel launched legal sportsbooks in CT yesterday as the market went live with iGaming expected in October (post regulatory approval: thus far, only Rush Street Interactive has been approved to run the state’s lottery program).
Since March, the launch has been awaited when Governor Ned Lamont agreed on new Tribal Compacts with Mohegan Sun and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Tribes. Under the compacts, the tribes and state lottery can offer sports betting, while iGaming is the exclusive right of the two tribes.
Playtech and Unibet Agree New Casino Deal
Playtech is a newer games developer in the US after securing marketing access earlier this year. This week the supplier has signed a deal with Kindred Group (Unibet) that will see Playtech games go live at Unibet Casinos online, starting with the NJ platform. Playtech content is currently live in Michigan and Pennsylvania Casinos.
Delaware Hits Year High Revenue Record for iGaming
