Play’n Go Expands in the US

Play’n GO has expanded its US exposure, forming a new partnership with BetMGM The studio is already live in New Jersey, having debuted its games first at PokerStars Casino in September. The studio’s most player-loved titles, including Book of Dead, Ankh of Anubis, Cat Wilde and the Lost Chapter, Cash Pump, and Blinged, will now be available at BetMGM, Borgata, and Party Casino too. Boyd Gaming Completes Pala Interactive Acquisition

Boyd Gaming has completed the $170m buyout of Pala Interactive. The deal was struck in March 2022 and provides Boyd with a complete gaming and tech suite to pursue growth in the USA. Boyd Gaming President and Chief Executive Keith Smith said, “Online casino gaming is an attractive growth opportunity for our company, and the acquisition of Pala Interactive provides us with the technology, products, and expertise to create a profitable regional online casino business.”

North Dakota New Tribal Compacts

North Dakota’s current gaming compacts are set to expire in early 2023; after months of negotiations, the final drafts of the new agreement is in for review. The proposed compact originally included iGaming considerations. However, these were not included in the final draft, meaning online casinos are currently off the table. 

Caesars Announces Ohio Sportsbook Ahead of Market Launch

With legal Ohio sports betting set to go live on January 1st, 2023, players are keenly awaiting the launch. Regulations allow operators to open before this date, accepting registrations and deposits, but not accepting bets. Caesars sportsbook has become the first to launch, accepting registrations and offering an early signup bonus of $100 bonus when you deposit $20!

Nevada Gambling Revenue Rises in September

Revenue figures from Nevada for September show a 7.8% YoY increase. That’s a monthly increase of 3.3% on August’s figures, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Slot games were the primary revenue source in the state, accounting for $858.8m.
