Greentube Acquires Flamingocatz Stake
Greentube has increased its US presence by acquiring 40% of emerging and indie games studio, Flamingocatz. Under the deal, Flamingozatz will develop content for Greentube’s gaming catalog. BetMGM and Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association Get PGCB Fine
The PGCB has handed out fines to BetMGM and Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association for allowing bets on an unsanctioned sporting event (the Belfort v Holyfield boxing match). The event occurred in 2021; the PGCB warned operators they could not accept bets beforehand, but betting still went ahead, with BetMGM taking 76 bets.

New Jersey Revenue Up While Pennsylvania Smashes Records for November
November’s revenue figures are out from the NJDGE, PGCB, and Delaware lottery. NJ and PA have reported growth, but PA is the standout state, smashing through records for the second month with a 4.6% YoY increase. In New Jersey, November’s revenue was down 1% on October’s figures but up 0.3% YoY. Meanwhile, things are less rosy in Delaware, which reported a nine-month low for the month, down 17.6% on October’s figures and 0.9% YoY.
BetMGM Customer Data Breach
BetMGM has warned customers of a data breach from May this year. The violation was only detected last month, and some customers’ personal information, such as contact details and social security numbers, was accessed. BetMGM has said there’s no reason to believe that passwords or funds have been acquired. They have recommended that customers remain vigilant to suspicious account activity.
