AGA Releases Gambling Figures for Q1 with Revenue Hitting $11bn.
With COVID restrictions finally coming to an end, casinos are beginning to make a comeback across the US, according to the American Gambling Association, with the industry hitting $11.13 bn in gross gambling revenue for Q1 of 2021. While this isn’t record-breaking, it’s a near-perfect match for the US industry’s largest-ever GGR achievement made in Q3 of 2019 and is a great sign for the gambling market, representing a YoY increase of 4.1%. Las Vegas is Back Baby: Caesars and MGM Hit Full Capacity
This week, the Nevada Gaming Control Board has given the go-ahead to Caesars and MGM Resorts to return to full capacity.
